The Ministry of Education and Culture Stipulates Three Typical Traditions of Buleleng as National WBTB
BULELENG - A total of three distinctive traditions in Buleleng Regency, Bali have been designated as National Intangible Cultural Heritage (WBTB) by the Ministry of Education and Culture (Kemendikbud).
"The three distinctive traditions are the skills and finesse of traditional crafts of glass painting in Nagasepaha Village, the Traditions and Oral Expressions of Megoak-goakan in Panji Village and the Customs of the Ngusaba Bukakak Community in Giri Emas Village, " said Head of the Buleleng Gede Regency Culture Office Dody Sukma Oktiva Askara when met after the meeting. virtual determination plenary session, Friday (9/10/2020).
Dody explained that after being appointed as WBTB, the Cultural Office would hold a seminar or webinar to disseminate the results of this determination. "So that people will know and understand better, " he said.
In 2021, the protection, development and utilization of the three national WBTBs will be carried out. Apart from these three, previously there were four national WBTBs in Buleleng Regency. "So there are seven WBTBs in Buleleng Regency and we will preserve the National WBTB through various programs, " said Dody.
The priority targets of the development and preservation of WBTB are millennials. So that youth in Buleleng Regency will be more aware and aware of the culture in Buleleng.
With the aim that there is further regeneration for those who can preserve this WBTB-WBTB. This needs the support of all parties.
"Therefore, this is important and we do not forget to thank the three components that have been determined to be the three national WBTBs, " said Dody.
Dody said that improvements would be made for proposals that were not accommodated. There are two cultural products that do not pass the national verification, namely Gambuh Desa Bungkulan and Megangsing.
